Tis the Season

It is truly amazing to be able to witness Christmas through the eyes of a toddler for the very first time.  To imagine that Lily has not experienced Christmas and the true meaning of Christmas at all yet breaks my heart.  But at the same time, I'm so thankful that we get to introduce all of the magic of the season to her!

As we walked into her school the other day she was amazed at how tall some of the trees were!

Ready for some fun at school!

We've been decorating our house this week.  Lily has been so excited just pulling out all the tubs and boxes.  Needless to say, decorating takes a bit longer this year but how can we not let Lily enjoy taking things out of tubs or putting her babies and toys into the tubs???

Once we had a few things out Lily set to town taking pictures of them all with her phone.  We've given her an old phone of mine that she can use to take pictures and she loves it!

And then, Michael took this picture...
My favorite so far!

Enjoy the little video below of Lily "reading" to her animals and singing.  The book is a story of the birth of Jesus. In the beginning of the video, she is using a block as a phone and listen carefully to who she is says hello to.  Love this sweet little girl!
