Last Tuesday was six months.
Six months since our world was changed forever and definitely for the best!

Lily Grace Wilson has just fit into our lives so well. This little girl brings such joy to all of our lives that I don't even know how to put that in words.
Lily continues to do so great that we stay constantly amazed at what she's doing, saying, singing, playing, etc. I try to jot things down to remember because I know from many of you, that these little things are the things I'll forget.
Riding along with Bert and Ernie
Here's some insight into Lily and what she's currently up to:
1. Lily is so easy going as far as going and doing things. She was fabulous on our recent trip (plane rides, different places to sleep, different food, new people)! She's easy to take places like the store, out to eat and running errands. We spent quite a bit of time at IKEA the other day and she happily rode in the cart since it was fun having her Granny push and turn her. It looked like so much fun that I contemplated getting in one myself. Seriously, if you've never used the carts at that store you are missing out!
2. She no longer fusses about going to bed or brushing her teeth. Lily has this routine down! Now, I'm not saying she goes right to sleep at night, but it does seem to be getting better. We usually get in bed around 8 and she typically takes about 30 minutes to fall asleep. She no longer wakes up through the night upset. She will also get up in the mornings sometimes and come out to find me.
3. Lily likes milk, and of course "cocolate milk" as she says!
4. Lily has a play kitchen now and I think she's ready for her own cooking show! It has all sorts of doors that open (oven, microwave, refrigerator, under the sink) and she's a master at putting pans, plates and cups all over the place. She's quite imaginative and I love to see that side of her.
5. She has enjoyed going to the Children's museum recently. This is a loud, kind of free for all for little kids - I know how much I love her when I'm standing there among all the other mommies with a glazed look on my face.
Thankful for "rice playing" somewhere other than our kitchen

So many choices here
6. When she wants held, she stands in front of me with arms up, and says "hold it". I love to "hold it" when it comes to her!
7. She likes to hold your hand and say "walking it" which means she wants to walk with you.
8. This girl loves to swim. She likes getting ready to go to the pool, likes swimming, likes to get out and have a snack, and then to go back and swim some more. The pool we've been going to lately allows her to touch for almost all of it. She's become much more comfortable in the water. She'll lay down and put her hair in the water, chase a ball and just run around and have fun. This past week she went down a little slide at the splash pad part of the pool by herself. Slides have not always been her favorite these last 6 months so that's big.
Mommy, no more pictures...I just wanna swim
Lift me up, Mommy
Loves to play in the water
First time for Cheetos and yes, she loves them! Just like her Mommy.
All cleaned up and ready to head home
Swimming makes for a tired girl
9. One of her favorite things to do right now is run to us and let us scoop her up high into the air. Then she says, "One more time". Over and over again. It's always one more time!
10. Lily has now spent the night at her granny's twice. Two times that she's spent the night away from us! She loves it, as does her granny. Us, well...it's pretty quiet around here when she's gone. Both nights she's been gone we just decided to stay home. We vegged out with TV and went to bed early. Pretty exciting huh?!?!? We decided next time she spends the night that we'll go out and do something. Next time....maybe.
Ready to go!

I guess Gracie thought she may be going also!
