Lily's first parade!
Heading to find a good spot. All decked out in red, white and blue.
Waiting for things to start
While we were waiting for the parade to begin, and trying to stay cool, we took some pictures. I was trying to get a cute one of Lily with her Daddy and this is what I got:
She was in a good mood but such a grumpy face! I had a great idea - let's give Lily a little flag to hold for the picture and maybe that will make a smile appear.
Well, we got a smile because how fun is it to wave a flag? Wave and wave and wave - like a whirlwind. And, right into her Daddy's eye. Good idea Mommy!

Of course I did the right thing and just kept taking pictures.
No harm done and we continued to wait for the fun to begin.

This about sums up a life with a two year old!
Later in the day we all headed out to have lunch with family.
Yahoo, we love going to Grandma's!!!!!!!!!!!!!
