Our first Easter with Lily was great! I mean with candy, toys, beautiful weather, family and friends...it doesn't get much better than that.
We decided that this year would be full of beginning new traditions around here for Lily to always look forward to. First tradition: cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Easter. I like these traditions too so far!!
After breakfast Lily had this to look forward to Easter morning:
She enjoyed taking one thing out at a time: stuffed bunny, bunny ears, "lipsticks" (flavored chapsticks), bunny straws, egg sippy cup, bunny plate and silverware, eggs and candy, a purse, a book and a few other goodies.
Getting ready to go see her basket
A cute bunny
Loves looking at pictures and watching movies of herself!
Next up was getting dressed and our Easter Egg hunt. We opted to stay home this year for the Egg Hunt. Let me just say, Lily totally gets this egg hunt thing! She loved getting each egg, opening it up and then eating the candy. Yes, we let her eat most of the candy right then and there. Luckily, I had planned for that and there wasn't actually too much.
So pretty with a dress from her great uncle!

She figured out how to open the eggs herself and the candy!
Blowing bubbles from her Easter basket
Look what I did!
I love bubbles!
Next up was a nap and a good one it was - 2 hours! Actually she may have been in a sugar coma and it took 2 hours for it to leave her system, but she made it! Later in the afternoon we had some driveway playing time with water buckets, bikes, bubbles, snacks, music and just lots of fun.
Somebody loved playing with the water
These two sweeties also enjoyed the time outside with us
Some friends came by and brought this little cutie to meet Lily and play
Sunday was such a good day for all of us.
We can't wait until Lily learns all about the true meaning of Easter!
She just can't get any cuter!
