This week was 5 months since Lily had her surgery and we had a follow up with her cardiologist from Texas Children's. We could not have asked for a better report!
A very early morning get up and no breakfast. She was a champ!
After an echo-cardiogram, ekg and a chest x-ray, we then met with the Dr. to go over all the results. The Dr. explained to us that he usually likes to do a 9 month visit and then a 12 month visit but Lily's results from her surgery were so good that we get to skip the 9 month visit. WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you hear all three of us cheering over here?????

They also checked her weight and height and she is growing.
Height and weight February: 33 inches, 23 lbs 13 oz
Height and weight October: 35.8 inches, 26 lbs 14 oz
It feels like she's grown a lot more when picking her up and carrying her but we are happy to see the growth. She's now out of all 18 month clothes. :)
We are now set for a year!
That makes for happy parents and a happy little girl.
